Its crazy 2018 is already over!! Over the past few days, I have thinking about how I am going to make 2019 even better. I came up with a few things to stay focused on next year that I think will make it the best year yet.
Set Goals for Yourself
This might seem like an obvious one, but it really is important. Don’t set goals that are unachievable, but at the same time challenge yourself. This summer I am going back to JH Ranch, and my goal is to go there and submit a mountain. It’s going to be really hard, but I think I can do it. Another goal of mine for 2019 is to grow my blog. These two goals are
Stay Motivated and Inspired
This is probably my favorite one on the list. Staying motivated isn’t always easy, but when I am motivated its one of the best feelings. I watched the movie Second Act last night, and that’s what inspired me to write the post!! Y’all should go see it btw it’s
Find Things You’re Excited About
I read online somewhere it’s easier to wake up in the morning when you have something you’re looking forward towards that day. I started doing this, and it really did help but it didn’t last long. For some reason, I stopped, but in 2019 I am going to make it a focus. It can be something small like going to get your favorite coffee in the morning or you can find something totally new you want to do. Being excited about life makes it so much more fun!
Change Up Your Routine
Once you get into a routine, it’s hard to get out of it or change it. Next year, I am going to try my best to add things to my routine, that will make it better. A few things I want to add are some new healthy habits. I am going to try to take apple cider vinegar shots every morning… I know it
Be Intentional
This one is definitely the hardest one for me. I have a problem with saying yes to everything and everyone, so this is something I am trying to work on in 2019. A lot of times I find myself so stressed out because I way over book my schedule. I don’t have time to put a lot of effort into one single thing because I am so worried about moving on to the next one. I have found that being intentional on who you spend your time with and what projects/activities you put your energy into makes life so much more enjoyable. Lets all work on not saying yes to everything, but only on the
Great article Mae, women supporting women is so important! There is enough room for all of us to be successful! Keep up the great work!
