This summer I have really been trying to step up my game on eating healthy and working out! Since I’m going to college in the fall, I am trying to start some healthy habits now. In the summer, it’s so important to stay hydrated, so I have been trying out some new drinks and here are the ones I am loving!
I always heard of people drinking it and I thought it was going to be so gross, but my friend Abby told me about one this one. It’s the watermelon wonder synergy kombucha. It helps with gut heath and digestion and this flavor is so refreshing. I usually drink these when I need something to settle my stomach.
Knowing you get so many vegetables and vitamins in one drink makes it so easy and makes me feel the best! I have been trying a few different ones from Publix and my favorites so far are any of the ones from Arden’s garden. When your picking out your juice just look at the ingredients and make sure it doesn’t have a ton of extra things in it that you can’t pronounce!
Hot Lemon Water
I drink hot lemon water every morning and has been a great addition to my routine. I learned from Kenzie Burke (she’s awesome) that if you do this first thing it speeds up your motablism and coats your stomachs before you fill it with everything else. It’s the perfect way to get your body ready for the day.
Tropical Bub Smoothie
This is a recipe I also learned from Kenzie Burke. It’s the perfect morning smoothie and super easy to make!
-Handful of spinach
-Chunk of cucumber
-Chunk of ginger
-Spoonful of Spirulina powder
I found all of these ingredients at Publix except spirilina and I got that at my heath food store. You can also drink coconut water on its own or just put it in smoothies, it’s super hydrating!
If I’m being honest these don’t taste great but they sure do make you feel great! They are the perfect boost and I always get these when I’m not feeling the best and when I can tell I am getting sick. Immune and detox shots are my favorites.
