Healthy Drinks I have Been Loving This Summer

This summer I have really been trying to step up my game on eating healthy and working out! Since I’m going to college in the fall, I am trying to start some healthy habits now. In the summer, it’s so important to stay hydrated, so I have been trying out some new drinks and here are the ones I am loving! 

Kombucha 

I always heard of people drinking it and I thought it was going to be so gross, but my friend Abby told me about one this one. It’s the watermelon wonder synergy kombucha. It helps with gut heath and digestion and this flavor is so refreshing. I usually drink these when I need something to settle my stomach.  

Green Juice

Knowing you get so many vegetables and vitamins in one drink makes it so easy and makes me feel the best! I have been trying a few different ones from Publix and my favorites so far are any of the ones from Arden’s garden. When your picking out your juice just look at the ingredients and make sure it doesn’t have a ton of extra things in it that you can’t pronounce! 

Hot Lemon Water

I drink hot lemon water every morning and has been a great addition to my routine. I learned from Kenzie Burke (she’s awesome) that if you do this first thing it speeds up your motablism and coats your stomachs before you fill it with everything else. It’s the perfect way to get your body ready for the day. 

Tropical Bub Smoothie

This is a recipe I also learned from Kenzie Burke. It’s the perfect morning smoothie and super easy to make!

Ingredients:

-Frozen Mango

-1 Banana

-Handful of spinach

-Chunk of cucumber

-Chunk of ginger

-Spoonful of Spirulina powder

-1 date

-Coconut water

I found all of these ingredients at Publix except spirilina and I got that at my heath food store.  You can also drink coconut water on its own or just put it in smoothies, it’s super hydrating!

Shots

If I’m being honest these don’t taste great but they sure do make you feel great! They are the perfect boost and I always get these when I’m not feeling the best and when I can tell I am getting sick. Immune and detox shots are my favorites.

    I love Harmless Coconut Water, and hot lemon water is my go to. I add ginger and honey. The Tropical Bub Smoothie sounds good. I never thought to add a date to a smoothie!

      I’m sure they do at your grocery store! I got almost everything at Publix

    I love a lot of the drinks in this list. I drink a mix of apple cider vinagre and lemon with warm water morning and night. It’s been helping my digestion a lot.

    I like healthy drink options. Smoothies are nice to me but I don’t feel like it is a proper meal for me. more like hot summer day option when I don’t want to eat anything

    I am also trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle and started walking an hour 3 or 4 times a week. Not easy but worth it. I love these drinks and I’ll definitely try the green one! Best of luck with school darling and thanks for sharing this!

    Wow! These stuffs really what we need to replenish lost energy we’re giving on a daily basis plus these are healthy drinks that supply not just energy but the necessary vitamins we need to our body. Thank you for sharing this to us. By the way, my favorite is the Hot Lemon Water. It’s so good.

    That is such a wonderful list of Summer drinks as it is important to keep yourself hydrated to beat the heat. I’ve been drinking Nestle Splash – natural orange flavored water with zero calories and loving it!

    I have never tried some of those but I always have a hot lemon water to help me boost of my immunity. That Harmless Coconut Water sounds really good. I will try that one.

    So same! Been trying to drink more healthy smoothies and use that as my morning fuel! I use banana, some frozen yogurt and a bunch of berries with milk! Mmmm

    looks nice! I do prefer drinking water all the time all year long or hot/cold green/camomile tea. but your options look exciting as well
